Nature is where I find peace. It’s where I escape and find the ‘real world’, not this artificial stuff we surround ourselves with every day.

It took me far too long to learn how to properly enjoy the outdoors and to develop a real passion for shooting landscapes and nature, but now my love for the outdoors guides me on a daily basis. I spend much of my time thinking and dreaming about getting to one more national park, or trying to find one more opportunity to get out to the mountains. When I can do neither of those things, I take my kids on photowalks around the neighborhood looking for animals to photograph.

Below are a few galleries of my outdoor work. My hope is to continue adding to these galleries until I have a more complete body of work to share in prints and books. For now, here is a loose collection of some of my favorite images.
